Disk Space Manager and Disk Space Manager LITE
The application does not collect or transmit the user's personal information.
The application does not communicate with any server or service on the internet. It works locally, on the drives and folders the user chooses to scan. Updates come through the Microsoft Store like any other app.
As the application is a disk space analyser, it must read the folders and sub-folders the user has selected to scan. While scanning it accesses only the basic information of a file or folder: its name, its size, the dates it was created and modified, and its attributes (such as system or archive). The application does not read the contents of files.
Everything the application gathers during a scan is used locally, to show the current size of the scanned folders and files and, in Disk Space Manager, the change since an earlier scan. Scan data is kept on the user's PC, in the application's own data folder, and can be deleted from the application's settings at any time.
A problem report or a suggestion sent from the application is composed in the user's own e-mail program and is sent only when the user presses Send there. The application itself sends nothing.
If you have any concerns, or would like to discuss or report a violation of this policy, please contact us.
